Day 4 – Get on a call

Get on a Call

☎ Today you’re going to engage in conversation with your ideal clients.Share exactly who you are and what you do, then ask them to hop on a call with you.

📄 Here’s a sample script you can follow:

  • Hey friends!

  • May name is ___ and I am a ____.

  • I help [insert type of people you help] to [insert results/product you provide].

  • Today, I want to get to know you better.

  • If you’re a [insert the people you help/people who typically buy your product], I’d love to chat!

  • If you book a call with me, I will [insert incentive here].

  • If this sounds good to you, send me a DM! [point to “Send a message” at bottom of the screen]

  • Look forward to chatting with you!

✨ One of the best ways to get people to hop on a call is to give an incentive.

You know your audience best so you’ll know what kind of incentive they’ll respond to. Here are some tips about choosing an incentive:

  • Choose an incentive that will attract your ideal client. For example, a 1:1 mini coaching call on the exact issue they’re struggling with.

  • Choose something that you’ve already created such as access to a course, program, or membership.

  • Avoid generalized incentives such as gift cards or iPads. This will likely attract “prize seekers” more than your ideal client.

💌 Alternatively, you can also DM people who voted in your poll on Monday.

The story will appear in your insights. (Alternatively, add it as a “highlight” and swipe up on the poll to see who voted. You can delete the highlight once you’re done.)

In this case say, “Hey, I saw that you voted in my poll on Monday. I’d love to hop on a short call with you to gather more insight. In exchange, I’d love to gift you a ____. Let me know if you have any questions. Look forward to chatting with you!”

💖 Feel free to experiment sending a short & sweet video or a voice note.

That’s it! Once you are done with today’s challenge, let us know how you did inside the community. And if you’re still working on the previous days, that’s okay too – reach out to the community and let us know what you need help with!
